Alisha Bennett, LMSW has over 9 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Her approach is positive, encouraging, and builds self-awareness. Clients will be able to better understand different parts of themselves and how they can build off their strengths. Work includes cognitive behavioral therapy concepts, goal setting, and ways to achieve those goals. She uses a multi-disciplinary approach to work with clients of all ages with various needs.
Alisha specializes in helping children with a wide range of needs including anxiety, depression, ODD, ADD/ADHD, and Autism/ASD. Alisha helps children build the skills they need to be more successful in school and have improved self-esteem day to day. Alisha also has experience working with adults to improve relationships, overcome anxiety and depression, and improve coping skills.
Alisha completed her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University and her Master of Social Work Degree at New York University.
