Heather Matzkowitz, LMSW is passionate about supporting people in leading happier and healthier lives. Heather works with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship issues, and life transitions. Heather believes that positive therapeutic outcomes begin with the interpersonal connection between the individual and their therapist, and so she strives to provide a warm, supportive, and safe environment where the client can feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and feelings
Heather uses a client centered and collaborative approach in order to determine what will be the most beneficial for a client’s success. She integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic techniques, and mindfulness-based practices.
Heather completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and her Master of Social Work Degree at New York University.
