What I Do
I work with men and women who feel they are living a life controlled by harmful and toxic habits and who want to put in the work it takes to create the life they deserve. I help people reconnect their mind and bodies to understand what their goals are regarding wellness.
How I Help
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, as well as aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and motivational interviewing to guide people out of the vicious cycle of disordered eating and addiction. My nonjudgmental and holistic approach makes me a great listener that focuses on spiritual, emotional, and mental health to assist someone relearn their true values. I believe investigating the way we perceive situations and thoughts can teach us about our behaviors. By shifting perspective, we can develop healthier skills to replace the maladaptive behaviors interfering with your self-growth!
More About Me
As a kid I played all sports, and softball still has a place in my life today. In addition, I practice yoga regularly. I grew up on the New Jersey shore, came to NYC for Columbia School of Social Work, and never left! I love all animals and am obsessed with puppies - I can’t pass one on the street without petting him or her.
