Hello, my name is Cherise White and I have experience working with individuals of diverse ages, couples, and families, and I have worked in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, veteran health systems, and colleges.

I work with individuals to help them explore and define their diagnosis for themselves. We also work on developing tools they can use to cope with symptoms of their diagnosis and/or daily life challenges. I join my clients on a  journey of learning how to navigate their way through life’s challenges.

How I Help

As a therapist, I promote quality of life and wellbeing by emphasizing the need to make one's emotional and mental health a priority. I embrace the biopsychosocial model and believe it is essential to consider the intersection of the brain, mind, body, and behavior.

I also adopt an integrative therapeutic approach by drawing from evidence-based methods present in cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, interpersonal therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
